" Thor is a Drunk

and Lokis a thief

But Odin will go

where he damn well please" (1)

"If you calling

For a Sigel

Then I'm calling for a Thorn

and the ravens you'll be hoping for

are nestled in my arms" (2)

Notes :

(1) Thor is a mans mans man if you read the tales not the comics ! (Thunder)

Loki isn't evil till the end, when his pranks become more "outrageous" (Fire)

Odin is a warrior mystic - and hence the verse (Wisdom)

Tyr is the other warrior god not mentioned here

It could be that the 3 represent different classes

Odin : Nobility

Tyr : Huscarls, trained warriors

Thor : Rank and File, Farmers

(2) Sigel means lightning flash, a symbol of Thor.

Also used on SS uniforms

Thorn is pain, a symbol of Hel

It means Dishonour
